Printed scarf commemorating the feat of Arkhip Osipov, a private of the Tenginskii Infantry Regiment, killed when he blew up the gunpowder room at the Mikhailovsk Fortress (on the eastern shore of the Black Sea) rather than surrender to attackers on 22 March 1840. Vignette with depiction of the event with written explanation beneath, entitled: Доблестный подвигъ Архипа Осипова Рядоваго Тенгинскаго Пѣхотнаго Полка. In corners of scarf are floral vignettes with portraits of generals.
