Description

Hand-colored lithograph. Procession of artillerymen and horse guards. On left are three teams of horses pulling a cannon on a limber, escorted by artillerymen in black uniforms. Behind them is a caisson pulled by one team of horses. Behind are mounted horse guardsmen: an officer, a bugler and a rank of lancers. Under artillerymen is number 221, under horse guards is number 222. In top left corner: XLVI. Possibly by Peter Heinrich Lambert von Hess (1792-1871).
