Description

Cylindrical brass band (скоба), originally was attached to the staff of the St. George standard of the Life-Guard Chernomorskii Cossack Divizion (see 1.1.97). Engraved in top left is cypher of Alexander I and inscription: 1811 г. Лейбъ-Гвардiи Черноморская сотня. | 1856 г. За отличiе при пораженiи и изгнанiи | непрiятеля изъ предѣловъ Россiи въ 1812 | г. и за подвигъ, оказанный въ сраженiи | при Лейпцигѣ 4го Октября 1813 года. | 1867 г. Лейбъ-Гвардiи Кавказскихъ Кубанскихъ | Казачьихъ эскадроновъ Собственнаго Его | Императорскаго Величества Конвоя. Band overlaps itself in back, with ten overlapping holes for attaching to standard staff.
