Description

Denture and envelope that contained it. Denture is made of brick red vulcanite, with ten teeth, metal disc on top. Envelope has inscription in graphite: Вставная челюсть | N 423 ("Denture N 423"). On reverse is inscription in graphite: Д Ш(?). N 5. From among items belonging to Nicholas II, his family and attendants found in and around Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg. Denture may have belonged to Dr. Evgenii Botkin.
