Description

Jetton of the Don Cadet Corps in Novocherkassk (Донской Императора Александра III кадетский корпус). Silver shield surmounted by mace and crossed reeds with horse tails (Cossack symbols of power). On obverse of shield is gold cypher of Alexander III on red guilloche enamel. On reverse on blue enamel background is silver and enamel Don Cossack Host coat of arms, gold year 1883, and inscription: ДОНСКОЙ | КАД. КОРПУСЪ (Don Cadet Corps). Attached to chain.
