Icon of Kazan Mother of God. Egg tempera on gessoed wood board. Silver oklad. Virgin Mary's and Christ's robes are chased and repoussed, with enamel design along hems. Rest of oklad is profusely enameled. Halos with shaded enamel florals, crown form above Virgin Mary's halo. Circle patterned background. Scrolling foliage border with floral corner elements.
