Description

Shoulder board of a major general in the Imperial retinue (свита). Gold zigzag galloon, cypher of Nicholas II embroidered in gold thread, two five-pointed stars in silver thread. Scarlet and blue-green piping. Brass button with double eagle. From among items belonging to Nicholas II, his family and attendants found in and around Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg. May have belonged to Vasilii Aleksandrovich Dolgorukov or Il’ia Leonidovich Tatishchev, both of whom were major generals in 1918. Is probably a pair with 24.2010.

May have belonged to Vasilii Aleksandrovich Dolgorukov or Il’ia Leonidovich Tatishchev, both of whom were major generals in 1918. Given by Grand Duchess Xenia Aleksandrovna (1875-1960) to Archpriest Mikhail Polskii (1891-1960) in 1948. Bequeathed by Archpriest Mikhail Polskii to Holy Trinity Monastery. Arrived at Holy Trinity Monastery in 1962.
