Description

Diploma No. 4 of the Imperial School of Jurisprudence in Saint Petersburg, given to Aleksandr Bazilskii (Александръ Базильскiй) on 11 May 1896. The diploma states that the student has completed all the required courses, which are listed along with grade for each, and that he merits 9th rank and a silver medal. On top is imperial double eagle with emanating rays; oak foliage and acorn border. In lower left is the four-cornered embossed paper seal of the school. Lithography of the diploma is by A. Markov of St. Petersburg.

History Note

Given on 11 May 1896 to Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Basil'skii (d. 1957), a graduate of the 57th Commencement of the Imperial School of Jurisprudence.
