Description

Pair of major general's shoulder boards. Gold zigzag galoon, two silver thread stars, buttons are missing. Top of shoulder boards is angled. Scarlet and blue-green piping, gray lining. On reverse of one shoulder board is tag of N.(?) Semenov firm. From among items belonging to Nicholas II, his family and attendants found in and around Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg. May have belonged to Vasilii Aleksandrovich Dolgorukov or Il’ia Leonidovich Tatishchev, both of whom were major generals in 1918.

From among items belonging to Nicholas II, his family and attendants found in and around Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg. May have belonged to Vasilii Aleksandrovich Dolgorukov or Il’ia Leonidovich Tatishchev, both of whom were major generals in 1918. Bequeathed by Bishop Nektary (Kontsevich) to Archbishop Kyrill (Dmitrieff) in 1983.
