Description

Navy blue pants, red piping along length of each leg, two pockets and additional smaller left pocket with red piping, buttons along waist, two buttons on outisde of both leg openings, adjustable strap with two-pronged buckle sown on back of waistline. On buttons is inscription: English Magazine St. Petersburg. From among items belonging to Nicholas II, his family and attendants found in and around Ipatiev House in Yekaterinburg. Pants possibly belonged to Nicholas II.

Given by Grand Duchess Xenia Aleksandrovna (1875-1960) to Archpriest Mikhail Polskii (1891-1960) in 1948. Bequeathed by Archpriest Mikhail Polskii to Holy Trinity Monastery. Arrived at Holy Trinity Monastery in 1962.
