Description

Pair of general's shoulder boards. Gold galloon with zigzags, red piping. Emproidered in metallc thread and sequins are combined cyphers of Alexander II, Alexander III, and Nicholas II. Brass buttons with imperial double eagle. Belonged to Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich.

History Note

Belonged to Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich (1858-1915). Were in custody of lieutenant colonel Dmitriev, then of Konstantin Mikhailovich Perepelovskii (1903-1992), last secretary of the Association of Kiev-Konstantiovites (Объединение Киевлян-Константиновцев). Shoulder boards were given by Perepelovskii to Princess Vera in 1976, who then donated them to the monastery museum.
