Silver presentation plate. Basketweave pattern along rim. In center is engraved inscription: Попъ | дьякону! ("From the priest to the deacon!" meaning from one of higher rank to one of lesser rank). Given by Grand Duke Dimitrii Konstantinovich to Colonel Ippolit Aleksandrovich Komarov.
Given by Grand Duke Dimitrii Konstantinovich (1860-1919) to Ippolit Aleksandrovich Komarov (d. 1931), a chamberlain (камергер) and an officer in the Life-Guard Horse Regiment. Grand Duke Dimitrii was commander of the Regiment and was the warden of the regimental church, the Annunciation Church in St. Petersburg. Ippolit Aleksandrovich was in charge of the clergy of the parish (начальник причта). The Prince gave this silver plate to Ippolit Aleksandrovich in response to I.A.'s address and gift with an inscription: "Великому Попу от малого причта" (To the Great Priest from the small clergy). In 1972 the plate was given to Princess Vera Konstantinovna by I.A.'s son, Colonel Ippolit Ippolitovich Komarov (d. 1978) of the Life Guard Preobrazhensky Regiment.
