Description

St. Andrew Regimental Ribbon from the St. George Jubilee Standard of His Imperial Majesty's Own Escort. Was awarded to the Escort by Nicholas II on 18 May 1911 on the occasion of the Escort's 100th anniversary. Two light blue silk ribbons joined at top with bow and silver buttons with imperial double eagle, silver metallic fringe on bottom. On front bottom is attached metal cypher of Alexander I, on reverse bottom is another cypher of Alexander I and imperial double eagle. Silver metallic thread border along edges of ribbon and embroidered inscription inside, commemorating the Escort's military exploits: 1811 г. Лейбъ-Гвардiи Черноморская сотня. 1856 г. За отличiе при пораженiи и изгнанiи непрiятеля изъ предѣловъ Россiи въ 1812 г. и за подвигъ, оказанный въ сраженiи при Лейпцигѣ 4го Октября 1813 года. 1911 г. Лейбъ-Гвардiи Кубанскiя Казачьи Сотни Собственнаго Его Императорскаго Величества Конвоя. On bow is embroidered year: 1911 года.

History Note

Was awarded to the Escort by Nicholas II on 18 May 1911 on the occasion of the Escort's 100th anniversary. Ribbon and St. George standard that it was attached to were in custody of Aleksandr A. Kravchenko.
