Description

Chromolithograph depicting the translation of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov from the Church of Sts. Zosima and Savva to the Sarov Dormition Cathedral on 18 July 1903. Relics of St. Seraphim, surrounded by crowd of people, are carried by Nicholas II, grand dukes, and bishops in the courtyard of a white-walled church. Below image is printed inscription: Перенесенiе св. мощей преп. Серафима Его Императорским Величеством Государем Императором и ихъ Императорскими Высочествами Великими Князьями изъ церкви свв. Зосимы и Савватiя | въ Саровскiй Успенскiй соборъ 18-го iюля 1903 года.
