This exhibit is dedicated to the legacy of Metropolitan Antony (Khrapovitsky) (1863-1936), the first First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. An eminent author and theologian, this extraordinary hierarch became the spiritual leader of the Russian Church in the diaspora and an authority for the whole Orthodox Church. Photographic materials, official documents, appeals, epistles, letters and other objects related to Metropolitan Antony from the archival collections of the Foundation of Russian History, Holy Trinity Seminary, and the Solzhenitsyn Center for Russian Emigre Studies (Moscow) are displayed in this online exhibit hosted by the Google Cultural Institute.
